I've been messing around with tech things for a couple decades now. Educated (dropped out near the very end) in philosophy (epistemics) and literature, I view programming as a creative endeavor that uses the same parts of my brain as writing. Professionally, I've been a lead developer (I worked on the Chromium codebase (not at Google)), been the infrastructure-department-of-one (managing multiple datacenters, georedundant HA setups, etc), as well as engineering director and cybersecurity specialist.

I get easily bored, to get around which I start (and rarely finish) many side-projects that have very odd constraints, abuse caffeine (sometimes around ~600mg/day), and play video games (typically FROMSOFTWARE or indie titles in the vein of TBoI, HK, Silksong, Hades to name a few).
